Privacy Policy
株式会社ピース (Piisu Inc.) (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as this "Policy") regarding the acquisition and use of personal information in the services operated and provided by the Company, and shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, guidelines of respective ministries and agencies, and other related laws and regulations to realize the protection of user information.
Article 1 (Definition of User Information)
In this Policy, "User Information" means personal information (meaning "personal information" as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information; the same shall apply hereinafter), the user's action history on communication services, other information generated or accumulated on the user's information terminal, and information concerning the user acquired in connection with the provision of affiliated services by companies affiliated with the Company (hereinafter referred to as "Affiliated Partners"), which is collected by the Company pursuant to this Policy.
Article 2 (User Information Collected in this Service)
In this Service, the Company collects information regarding the user's access status and method of using this Service, as well as information to identify the user. This information includes the following:
(1) Email Address
The Company may collect the user's email address for purposes such as identifying the user upon account registration for this Service and responding to inquiries.
(2) Terminal Information
The Company may collect information specific to the terminal used by the user (such as individual identification information including terminal-specific IDs) for the maintenance and improvement of this application or the prevention of fraudulent acts.
(3) Log Information and Action History Information
The Company may collect information such as IP addresses, dates and times of requests from the user, and operation history within the application, which are automatically generated and saved when using this application, for the maintenance and improvement of this application or the prevention of fraudulent acts.
(4) Cookie
This application may use a technology called "Cookie" and similar technologies. A Cookie is an industry-standard technology by which a web server identifies a user's computer. While Cookies can identify a user's computer, they cannot identify the user as an individual. The user may disable the Cookie function by changing the settings on their electronic terminal; however, in such a case, all or part of this application may become unavailable.
Article 3 (Purpose of Use)
- The Company shall not use the User Information acquired through the use of this Service beyond the scope of the purpose of use without the consent of the user themselves. The User Information acquired by the Company shall be handled appropriately within the scope of the following purposes:

- The Company may mutually provide User Information, including personal information, to Affiliated Partners and other third parties within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes set forth in the preceding paragraph, upon obtaining the prior consent of the user.
Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)
The Company may change the purpose of use set forth in the preceding article within a scope reasonably recognized as having a considerable relevance to the purpose of use before the change, and in the event of such a change, the Company shall notify the user or make a public announcement by a method separately determined by the Company.
Article 5 (Acquisition of User Information)
- The Company shall acquire User Information appropriately, without resorting to deception or other wrongful means.
- In the event that the Company acquires User Information by means other than acquisition through the user's use of this Service, the Company shall notify or publicly announce the purpose of use in advance.
Article 6 (Security Management)
- The Company shall take necessary and appropriate measures for the prevention of leakage, loss, or damage of User Information and for other security management of User Information.
- In the event that the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of User Information to a third party, the Company shall conclude a confidentiality agreement or the like with contents equivalent to this Policy with said third party in advance, and shall exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over said third party to ensure the security management of User Information.
Article 7 (Joint Use)
The Company may jointly use the user's personal information with Affiliated Partners within the scope necessary for the provision of affiliated services. In this case, the Company shall publicly announce in advance the name of the Affiliated Partner, the purpose of joint use, and the types of information to be jointly used.
Article 8 (Use of Cookies and Other Technologies)
- Some pages in this Service use a technology called "Cookie" and similar technologies.
- A Cookie is an industry-standard technology by which a web server identifies the electronic terminal used by the user. While Cookies can identify the user's electronic terminal, they cannot identify the user as an individual. The user may disable the Cookie function by changing the settings on their electronic terminal; however, as a result, all or part of this Service may become unavailable.
Article 9 (Information Collection Modules)
Information collection modules are incorporated into this Service to analyze User Information. In connection with this, the Company provides User Information to the providers of the information collection modules. These information collection modules use Cookies, etc. to collect User Information without including information that identifies individuals, and the collected information is managed based on the privacy policies and other regulations of the providers of the information collection modules (for details, please refer to the privacy policies, etc. of each information collection module provider).
Article 10 (External Services and Links)
The Company may provide services in linkage with external services such as Facebook and Twitter (hereinafter referred to as "External Services"). If a user uses this Service linked with an External Service at their own request, the Company may provide User Information to the provider of said External Service.
Article 11 (Disclosure and Sharing of User Information)
With respect to personal information among User Information, the Company shall not disclose or share it with third parties without the user's consent, except where disclosure is permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations. However, the following cases shall be exceptions:
- Cases where the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information to a third party within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
- Cases where the personal information of a user using this Service is deposited with a payment system company, credit card company, or bank for the purpose of billing the user for usage fees
- Cases where personal information is provided to an information collection module provider or an External Service provider in accordance with the provisions of the preceding two articles
- Cases where necessary measures are taken against a user who has taken or is about to take actions that cause damage to others or acts contrary to public order and morals within this Service
- Cases where there is an imminent danger to human life, property, etc., and there is an urgent necessity
- Cases where personal information is provided in connection with the succession of business due to merger or other reasons
- Cases where disclosure is requested by a public institution such as a court or the police based on laws and regulations
Article 12 (Targeted Advertising)
- For the implementation of targeted advertising (meaning an advertising method that delivers advertisements tailored to the user's needs, interests, or concerns) by the Company or third parties such as advertisement distribution business operators, the Company shall collect the following information using information collection modules upon the provision of this application or affiliated services, and accumulate or use the same:
- Action history information (meaning information such as the usage history of this application that can be used for the analysis of the user's needs, interests, or concerns by accumulating it, and which does not lead to the identification of a specific individual)
- Terminal information
- The Company shall provide the information collected based on the preceding paragraph to business operators that distribute behavioral targeted advertising (hereinafter referred to as "Advertisement Distribution Business Operators") for the purpose of delivering beneficial information to users by distributing optimal advertisements customized to the user's needs, interests, or concerns.
- The Company shall retain the action history information, etc. collected from users only for the period legally and legitimately required for business purposes.
- When providing action history information, etc. to Advertisement Distribution Business Operators, the Company shall strive to take the following measures for the prevention of leakage, loss, or damage of said information, etc. and for other security management:
- Not to disclose mechanisms such as algorithms for encrypting action history information, etc.
- To provide action history information, etc. to Advertisement Distribution Business Operators on the condition that it is used only within the scope of the purpose of use set forth in Paragraph 2
- In the event that an Advertisement Distribution Business Operator further provides action history information, etc. to another third party, to impose an obligation on the Advertisement Distribution Business Operator to provide it to said third party subject to the same conditions as the preceding item
Article 13 (Disclosure, Correction, etc. of User Information)
- If a user requests the disclosure, correction, addition, or deletion in writing regarding the personal information provided by the user, please make a request by mail by enclosing the documents necessary for identity verification (in the case of an application by an agent, verification that they are a proper agent) with the application form. In the case of a request for disclosure in writing and a request for notification of the purpose of use, a fee of 410 yen (tax included; actual expenses for replying in writing by simplified registered mail) will be charged per application.
- In the event of a request based on the preceding paragraph, when identity verification has been completed, the Company shall disclose, etc. the personal information within a reasonable scope. However, this shall not apply if the Company is not obligated to make such disclosure, etc. under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations.

Article 15 (Organization and Structure)
The Company appoints Koji Masuda as the management representative, and shall implement appropriate management and continuous improvement of User Information.
Article 16 (Disclaimer)
The Company shall not bear any responsibility in the following cases:
- Cases where the user themselves reveals User Information to a third party using the functions of this Service or other means
- Cases where an individual becomes identifiable due to information, etc. entered by the user themselves on this Service
Article 17 (Change of this Policy)
- The Company shall review the operational status regarding the handling of user information from time to time, strive for continuous improvement, and may change this Policy at any time as necessary.
- Regarding the amended Policy, the Company shall notify the fact that this Policy will be changed, the contents of the amended Policy, and its effective date by posting on the Company's website or this Service, notifying users by electromagnetic recording methods such as email, or other easy-to-understand methods. However, when making changes to contents that require the user's consent under laws and regulations, the Company shall obtain the user's consent by a method separately determined by the Company.
Article 18 (Other Precautions)
The services provided by the Company may include links to services other than those managed by the Company, and the Company shall not bear any responsibility for the contents or the protection of User Information in these External Services.
